EClaire was born from a cerulean blue that guided my steps and propelled my dreams.They are, or rather were, the eyes of my grandmother Claire who raised me and, I believe, made me into the woman I am.
Strong-willed, independent, careful to protect what is dear to me: my affections first and foremost, the friends and people around me, the objects I own, my house, my plants.
EClaire is the synthesis of a thought that starts from afar, from knowing how to look at reality' with curious and positive eyes, from giving weight and meaning even to small details, because it is these that sometimes make the difference.
My grandmother taught me this simply by living: she knew how to make every moment unique, because' she did everything with joy, attention and motivation. The rest was done by my visceral love for the sea and in particular for that of Sardinia, which has been the setting for my endless summers. The colors, the scents, the nature of Sardinia in the early 1980s left an indelible mark in my visual, olfactory, and emotional memory: I remember exactly the feeling I had every time we left and I also remember that in my suitcase could not miss the thousand costumes I wished I had. Every day I sported a different one, sometimes crocheted by my beloved Grandma Claire, who also taught me that keeping to oneself is a great form of respect for life and for others.
EClaire e' dedicato a lei, alla forza di una donna meravigliosa che vorrei avere ancora accanto, ancora di più da quando sono diventata mamma.Eccoci quindi alla partenza con una collezione che ho voluto far uscire da sola, perché restasse unica, perché fosse il punto da cui partire, ma a cui fare nel tempo riferimento.L'ho chiamata "new doll" per esprimere un mood che e' al tempo stesso romantico, ma sexy, semplice nelle linee ma ricercato nei dettagli, con una palette colori su cui ho lavorato parecchio, credendo fortemente nella potenza dei colori e dei loro abbinamenti.Caratteristica precipua della linea e' aver escluso da ogni modello lacci, chiusure, coppe, coppette, fodere e ferretti, puntando sulla bellezza di una licra 100% italiana, morbida al tattto e sulla pelle, che si adatta alle diverse fisicità e non le nasconde o comprime.Fedele allo spirito naturale, ricercato e funzionale di Eclaire ho pensato di creare anche una bustina contenitore da portare sempre con se' e che può essere utilizzata per il cambio costume ( e' internamente impermeabile), come trousse o porta oggetti; l'ho voluta e realizzata in licra (quella utilizzata per i costumi) nelle tonalità simbolo del marchio EClaire.I costumi sono prodotti in Italia, da una piccola azienda che utilizza principalmente manodopera qualificata femminile.
